Clockwise, from upper left, they are (1) Charles Sellon Cox (1872-1942), son of Charles Epperson Cox, who, in March 1899, was serving with the 4th U.S. Cavalry in the Phillippines; (2) Harry Dirrim (1870-1945) and Josephine R. (Cox) Dirrim (1870-1952), probably sometime after their marriage in 1897, when they were living in Stanton, Montgomery County, Iowa; (3) Dirrim School, Douglas, Page County, Iowa, 2 March 1894; Josie Cox, teacher (one of the students is Guy Dirrim) | |
